Along The Cullasaja
A drive up the Cullasaja River Gorge from Franklin to Highlands on US64 is an exhilarating experience. Narrow and winding up the gorge, there are many cascades and falls with very few places to stop. It can take several trips to have your turn at a parking spot. Fall is really the best time for this trip after the leaves have fallen giving a better view of the falls and cascades.
