Wayah Bald, Wilson Lick Ranger Station
Wayah Bald Tower overlooks a vast area of these mountains. A fire destroyed the wooden structure which once stood atop of the rock tower. Wilson Lick Ranger Station was an interesting find. Built in 1916 an occupied by rangers for many years. We found a few cascades as we drove Wayah Road.
