Fort Morgan
One of two forts which guarded the entrance to Mobile Bay during The Civil War. Fort Morgan is located on the western tip of Fort Morgan Peninsula and the eastern side of the entrance to Mobile Bay. Fort Gaines is the other fort which is located on the west side of the entrance to Mobile Bay and is on the eastern end of Dauphin Island.
