Mud Creek & Darnell Creek Falls
A short drive from Franklin, NC is Dillard, GA. These two falls are both located in the Dillard area. Mud Creek Falls is right off a paved road with easy access. A few shoots of the cascades downstream to complete this shoot then off to another location. Darnell Creek Falls was more of an adventure. It is located on a Forestry Service Road and the guidebook we are using recommends a 4X4 vehicle with high clearance. Not an issue for us but it was a little rough. We arrived to find a family already there having a cookout. It sure did smell good. A few shots from downstream with the falls visible in the background before leaving. The family there shared that there were other locations upstream which I might want to photograph. The last few shots are from the beautiful cascade just upstream from Darnell Creek Falls.
