Lake Junaluska and Woodfin Cascades On BRP
We drove around Lake Junaluska before parking and walking some of the sidewalk along its banks. We did not find the eagles on this day but will try again. After leaving the lake we entered the Blue Ridge Parkway and drove toward Cherokee. Woodfin Cascades is located across from Woodfin Cascades Overlook on BRP. The clouds were building as we continued our drive and rain could be seen across the valley. It was easy to see where the rain was falling from Waterrock Knob with its eastward and westward views.
