Eastpoint Wildfire
Sunday afternoon brought disaster and heartache to many who live in Eastpoint, Florida. A wildfire of undetermined cause ravaged the forest and destroyed as many as 40 homes. The fire was fast moving and home owners had little time to evacuate ahead of the flames. Many lost everything. A valiant fight by emergency responders was made and certainly lessened the extent of loss to both forest and homes. No injuries have been reported.
