Creek, Clingman’s & Waterrock
The creek along the parkway through GSMNP offer so many opportunities to photographers. This is a location I had never stopped and shot these with 10-stops of ND filter. Clingman’s Dome was so crowded that we spent very little time there. We drove back down to Newfound Gap and found it less crowded. We spent some time sitting on the tailgate of the truck enjoying the scenery and cool air. Then we drove BRP from Cherokee to Waynesville. A stop at Waterrock Knob gave us bees and butterflies on the flowers. There is a certain feel in the air hinting that fall is just around the corner.
